Name your city trip style essentials

Good basics, comfortable shoes and luxe accessories to elevate each look.

What’s always in your suitcase, no matter the destination?

A white shirt and a little black dress. Whether classic or more modern, you can’t go wrong with these pieces.

How do you translate your everyday style while on a city break?

I’m very practical and I like to stay true to my style when travelling by choosing comfortable yet stylish pieces, such as basics. Black jeans and an elegant belted leather jacket paired with good accessories is an effortless look.

Tips for staying comfortable yet stylish when exploring a city?

I believe good basics with a twist are the best option. Pieces you can dress up and down, wear from day to night. Leather trousers are a favourite because of their versatility; I like to wear them with trainers during the day, then change to heels for the evening.

Describe your day to evening look whilst on holiday?

During the day, I like to be comfortable and tend to go for jeans, leather trousers or skirts that I like to layer with trench coats and leather jackets for a more elegant look. In the evening, I like to have a bit more fun and wear feminine dresses, high heels and mix basics with more statement pieces.

What was your favourite look of the trip and how did it make you feel?

The white tunic with black coated jeans. I felt elegant but didn’t compromise on comfort.

Top 3 tips for planning a city trip?

Plan, know where you want to go and when, but allow some free time to be surprised by the city you’re visiting. Some of the best moments of a trip are the ones we don’t plan.

When it comes to packing, stick to a colour palette and choose multifunctional pieces. This is the easiest way to mix and match pieces and optimize your luggage space.

Choose accommodation with easy access to most of the places you’re planning to visit. This won’t only save you plenty of time but will make the whole experience a lot more enjoyable.

The one place everyone should visit in Paris?

Jardin du Palais Royal. There’s something magical about these gardens. Just walking around, admiring the breath-taking architecture of the palace along with the beauty of the gardens with a coffee to-go from Café Kitsuné, is just lovely and relaxing.

Sum up your trip in 3 words?

Inspiring. Indulgent. Elegant.

Where’s next on your bucket list to explore?

There are so many places I’d like to visit (and will probably do more city breaks in the next few months), but I’d love to see more of South America and explore Argentina and the Patagonia region.
