How do I make a booking?

You can make a booking through the 'book your service' button above. This will take you to a virtual consultation where you can discover the right service, and Maker for you.

How do I get assigned to a maker?

Your chosen Maker is selected by the type of service, and for London customers – by location. Once you have filled in your virtual consultation form you will be connected to the best Maker for the service.

Where are your services available?

In-person fittings are limited to customers in London. For services that don’t need an in-person fitting, these can be used by customers across the UK.

I'm in London, how do I book an in-person fitting?

Once matched with your Maker, you can speak with them to arrange the best time and location. This could be at home, your workplace, or at the Makers’ studio.

How long will it take to get my altered project back?

We aim to turn around each project in 10 days. If it is set to take longer, we will always let you know. If there is a particular date you need your item completed, let your Maker know when placing a booking.

How can I make a payment?

Once the Maker has set the cost of your project, you can pay using credit card, debit card or Apple Pay.

How much will my project cost?

Every project is uniquely priced, your Maker will provide you with an estimate upon virtual consultation.

What if I'm unhappy with my alteration or repair?

In the rare eventuality that you are unhappy with your project, please contact us at support@theseam.uk, and our team will come back to you within 24 hours.
