Non-greasy stains can be treated by gently dabbing with a lint-free cloth or sponge lightly moistened with warm water, working from the outer edge inward to avoid marks. For greasy stains, a suitable cleaning agent or solvent may be used, but should always be tested on an inconspicuous area first. Ensure the fabric is completely dry before reuse.
