A light food‑grade wax keeps stains from settling, so crumbs brush off and fingerprints wipe away without leaving dark rings. At only 0.90 kg the board feels surprisingly light for its length, which matters when the dish moves from kitchen to garden table loaded with baguette slices or taco fillings. Two aluminium leaf handles bolt cleanly through the short ends. Metal grips stay cooler than wood when the tray carries warm pastries, and the leaf curves spread weight across fingers, reducing strain during long buffet runs. Each handle lifts the base a few millimetres above countertops, letting air pass underneath and protecting varnished tables from heat marks.
