What To Wear, Where
The Winter Getaway
With luxurious leathers, feather-filled puffers and cosy cashmeres, winter never looked so good. And neither did you. So whether you’re exploring a new city, scaling slopes or enjoying a countryside staycation, make sure you're dressed for the occasion.
At the base of Mont Blanc, and at the junction of France, Italy and Switzerland, Chamonix has it all. Our suitcase essential is a padded puffer jacket. Functional, stylish and perfect for layering with your cashmere knits. Just opt for a heeled boot to take the look from day to night.
Where to Après
Head to La Terrasse in the centre of town for live music, guest DJs and the best après-ski in town. With a large open terrace, it’s the perfect spot for soaking up the scenery and people watching.
From the Christmas markets along the Champs Elysees to the Eiffel Tower’s very own ice-skating rink, the possibilities in Paris are endless. Take a leaf out of the Parisian's style book and go for a look that’s as understated and à la mode as the city itself. Think leathers, skinny scarves and neutral colour palettes.
Where to Play
For a casual, cool and typically Parisian treat visit Derrière for brunch. Hidden on the backstreets of the 3rd Arr – with no signposting whatsoever – you’ll need to allow time to find it. But when you do, expect to uncover Narnia. Top tip: Don’t miss the walk-in wardrobe.
The green landscape – or if we’re lucky, white – of the Cotswolds makes the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Think country walks, log fires and mulled wine. A classic white-tee-and-jeans combo, along with a longline fur-trim coat and metallic accessories should be your suitcase essentials.
Where to Stay
Nestled in the small Cotswolds village of Kingham is the Wild Rabbit Inn. With a selection of bespoke rooms and cottages, it offers a luxurious place to stay and play. And did we mention their dining room has a Michelin star?
