London / New Neutrals take AW Beauty by storm

Last season we all embraced new neutrals and this season we see this look widen into embracing make-up.

Gone are the heavy gothic eyes from previous winters as we see the movement toward a lighter mood, captured by the softer tones in our campaign. Peach cheeks give a chic twist to classic glamour and minimalist eyes in brown shades, from mink to mushroom and a dusting of deep chocolate shades.

New York / Red Hot Lips

Back with a pop this season, scarlet fever has taken a grip on us! From sultry cherry and velvet tones to fresh tomato, red is the must have accent colour for Autumn Winter. For a chic and modern twist, Victoria Young, Fashion Director of LOVE Magazine and the stylist of our campaign captured the perfect Karen Millen look for the season with dramatic red lips that ‘compliment the pared down yet luxe minimalism which runs through the collection.

London / Picture Perfect with Tim Griffiths

To complete you perfect Karen Millen make over we have the pleasure of welcoming renowned photographer Tim Griffiths.  

Tim studied Fashion Promotion and Communication at  Central St Martins in London,  majoring in photography and  has worked for several international  

fashion brands and jewellery houses.  His work can be seen on the pages of  international additions of Tatler, Grazia and Vogue! 

London / What to Wear? 

This season has been typified for me by the return of a more womanly, ladylike approach to dressing. 

I'm in love with this 1950s inspired backless crepe dress . The Italian stretch wool crepe is perfect for this time of year, easy to work into my wardrobe now without worrying too much about passing out from heat exhaustion on the crowded tubes or bustling Regent Street event!

The sharp architectural detailing makes me feel like a screen starlet and the tailoring epitomises Karen Millen's atelier approach to design! I'm going to be super brave and wear this with bare legs, ankle boots and of course this seasons red hot lip!
